About Bright & Gray Creative

Jason and Jessica Morales took their two businesses — A Morales Production and The Storie Co. — and combined them to become Bright & Gray Creative in January 2024.

This duo met at Samford University in 2010, started dating later that year, and were married in September 2012. They have two kids, Brighten Storie and Grady Shores (get it? Bright and Gray). Brighten was born on Jason and Jessica’s fourth wedding anniversary outside of Houston, TX. She’s a proudly claims her Texas roots, even though she only lived there for about 3 weeks since Jason and Jessica adopted her the day she was born. Grady was born two years later and is named after a combination of the Orlando Magic (Tracy McGrady), Jurassic World (Owen Grady — aka Chris Pratt), and the beaches of Florida.

Speaking of Florida, Jason is originally from Hartford, CT, but moved to Daytona Beach, FL when he was 8 years old. Jessica was born and raised in Destin, FL, a fact she likes to brag about regularly. They both attended Samford University and graduated with degrees in Journalism and Mass Communications. They have made their home in Hoover, AL, in a sweet little subdivision with sidewalks and neighborhood pools because they just couldn’t escape their Florida roots.

The Morales family attends Immanuel Church Birmingham, where Jason serves as the deacon over media and Jessica serves as the communications director. They have two dogs — Swanson and Rory — who are both under 20 lbs. and are both named after favorite TV shows.

Jason and Jessica enjoy going to concerts, being annual passholders at Disney World, and watching their kids play little league softball and baseball.
